I decided to pick this because I thought the reporter did a good job of picking a wide variety of sources. By capturing a wide spectrum of people, the viewer was able to get a more comprehensive image of the toll the recession was taken, thereby making the pictures more memorable. I also respected the fact that it took the journalist over a year to produce only 67 pictures.
