Housekeeping: Behind the closed doors

Phung Pham, a housekeeping staff member, gets her own space labeled like all the dorm rooms on her floor of work. Phung Pham arrives to this door in Queen Anne's Hall every morning to do the chores college kids hesitate to do when back home. (Inside the Shell/Michael-Ann Henry)

Pham starts a her weekdays at 8:00 am by setting up her supplies with in this closet. Here, she separates the chemicals for disinfecting the bathrooms on the 3rd and 2nd floors. (Inside the Shell/Michael-Ann Henry)

Pham proceeds to buffer the floors quietly before most students have left for classes. (Inside the Shell/Michael-Ann Henry)

Pham finishes the majority of her tasks while students in the dorm have yet to wake up for classes with little seen by the inhabitants. What is left for them when they are fully awake is a clean dorm and the closed door with her name. (Inside The Shell/Michael-Ann Henry)
