Caitlin Mac Neal, a senior at Georgetown University, edits a story for Washington, D.C., alternative weekly Washington City Paper on October 14. Mac Neal is an editorial intern for the Adams Morgan-based publication. 
One of Mac Neal's tasks for the day is to fact-check beer prices for the upcoming beer issues. Mac Neal picked Washington City Paper for an internship because, "I wanted to work at a paper that would help me find new angles for stories and I love their quirky writing style."
Of course, some intern duties are better than others. But Mac Neal is grateful for the experience Washington City Paper will give her in addition to her time as the editor and a writer for Georgetown's student-run newspaper, The Hoya.
