Final Project

Headline: Americanizing Chinatown
This story would show the change overtime the Chinatown in DC has faced and the plans some Chinese have to try to restore and preserve aspects of the old Chinatown.
I would interview people at the CCCC in Chinatown that are trying to preserve different aspects. I would try to get video of different events and classes they offer in Chinatown. This would be an picture and video project because I want to ask different people if they have photos of old Chinatown. Also I want to talk to old owners about why they sold their old stores.The story would also involve how many Chinese are moving to the suburbs out of Chinatown because of the development. I want to also talk to some people about what they think of the changes. Im going to try to use my broken chinese to talk to restaurants and store owners around the area that have lasted through the changes. Not sure the runtime...5min?
